Fall 2013 SDP Schedule and Fees

We are happy to expand our popular SDP program this Fall to include Kindergartners!

Schedule and Fees for Fall SDP are as follows:

Please note that after August 20th a late registration fee of $25 will be applied to each registration.

K - one day $250

1st-2nd- one day $250; two days $375

2nd graders who are participating in our U8 travel program should not register for SDP

Registration options: Kindergarteners can only register for one day, Mondays or Tuesdays, in the Fall. Children who are in 1st and 2nd grade can register for Mondays only, Fridays only, or Mondays and Fridays.  The cost of the one-day programs is $250.  The cost of the two-day program is $375.    Program begins September 9th.  Please note that fields are subject to permits and may change due to weather or other circumstances. Each division (Monday or Friday) operates as is a separate program and children will be assigned to specific groups within each division.  Please note, that there will be a $25 change fee for anyone who registers and then changes sessions.  After registration is closed, there will be a $25 late fee. All fees, once paid are non-refundable.

Make-up policy:  Children cannot switch days mid-season or make up missed sessions on a day for which they are not registered. In the event that one or more sessions is cancelled due to weather or for other reasons we will endeavor to schedule a make-up for the cancelled session(s) to the extent possible.



The Scarsdale Development Program was designed to support  our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grader players who are excited about soccer and are looking for more soccer in a high energy environment with top quality training. The program has been very well received and attended since it's inception in Fall 2011.
Commitment and Fees
This program is intended for committed players. For fall 2013 the cost of the  one-day programs are $250. The cost of the two-day program is $375.
All past SDP kids that played and who will be playing SDP going forward will continue to wear their white SDP kit until they graduate to travel.

All new signups to SDP will order on a white SYSC travel kit.  It will no longer say SDP.  

Wait List and Withdrawal Policy
If the demand for this program exceeds capacity there will be a waiting list. Players invited to register from the waiting list will be given a 24 hour period to accept and register or the available spot will be offered to the next player on the waiting list. No one on the waiting list will be charged unless they are offered a spot in the program and accept by completing payment. 
This program depends on player commitment and takes substantial  time to structure, run, and administer.   Once a player has completed registration by paying there are no refunds.  Registrants after the close of registration will  be charged a $25 late fee. 
Requests to Change Sessions:  
While we appreciate that everyone has multiple commitments that may conflict and that changes can occur unexpectedly, we ask all families to do their best to consider their schedules carefully before registering. Withdrawals and changes can diminish the quality of the program and place an unreasonable burden on our administrators and volunteers.  In the event of an unexpected schedule change prior to the commencement of the program we will do our best to accommodate you by switching your child's session if there is room in the alternative session.  Change requests that are granted will result in a $25 administrative charge.  There are no changes after the first session on April 1.  If your child's session cannot be changed, as explained above, there are no refunds or credits provided due to scheduling conflicts. 
You will be asked to consent to the no refund policy and administrative change fee during your registration for SDP.  You must consent to these policies to register your child.
Please note:
  • The program will be led by Andy Roderick of UK Elite, our club's training provider. He will be assisted by several of UKE's other trainers.     
  • SDP uniforms along with shin guards and cleats must be worn at all SDP practices, games and tournaments.
  • While we will MAKE every effort will be made to schedule scrimmages and tournaments, we cannot be certain that these components of the program.
