Scarsdale Youth Soccer Club

The SYSC specialized training for Fall 2009 includes FINISHING/POWER SHOOTING and Goalie Clinics. The schedules are listed below. If you have specific questions, please ask your coaches first. They are well versed in the specifics of the various programs. 

The specialized training sessions are open to all SYSC players and the cost is included with each player's annual fee.

To enroll, RSVP to directortraining@scarsdalesoccer.org  with the session, time, player's name and team. In addition, let your coach know about your intention to attend.

 In the event of inclement weather, cancellation notices will be on the SYSC weatherphone (914) 232-5085. Do not call the Rec Department 

All Goalkeepers (or players interested in goalkeeping position) are invited to attend any one or all of the Goalie Clinics. 

NOTE THAT THE THURSDAY 4-5 GOALIE CLINIC HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. 

The key to shooting with accuracy and power is teaching players the correct techniques to perform any type of kick. Players able to execute these mechanical aspects consistently with both fee will gain the confidence to take risks, shoot with accuracy and maximum velocity under pressure. The goals of the Finishing and Power Shooting Clinics are to teach proper shooting techniques and challenge players with all types of scoring situations. As a SYSC player, you want to attend at least one of the sessions to take advantage of this invaluable focused training.
